\u00a0<\/strong>The Mechanical Engineering Unit has been established within the Provincial Engineering Department of the North Central Provincial Council. A large number of tasks are performed annually under this mechanical engineering unit. (The number of inspections and reports prepared and issued per year is between 1000-1300.)<\/p>

This mechanical engineering supervision has been a great help to properly supervise the mechanical engineering works of the North Central Provincial Council and to carry out those works with quality.<\/p>

Duties performed under Mechanical Engineering Unit <\/u><\/strong><\/p>

  • \u00a0<\/u><\/strong>Providing recommendations and monitoring the repairs and services of vehicles and machinery.<\/li>
  • Preparation of specifications related to purchases, works and services in the field of mechanics, preparation of procurement documents, preparation of technical committee reports. (air conditioners, generators, water pumps, refrigerators, water treatment systems etc.)<\/li>
  • Preparation of reports related to misuse of vehicles and machinery, preparation of assessment reports<\/li>
  • Preparation of traffic accident inspection and estimation reports.<\/li>
  • Providing consultancy services for mechanical engineering works and supervision of those works<\/li>
  • Recommending and supervising electronic equipment services and repairs including photocopiers and computers.<\/li>
  • Preparing training programs related to mechanical engineering activities, preparing related training support documents and conducting programs.<\/li><\/ul>
